I’m nineteen. A college student. A daughter. A sister. A pet owner. A figure skater. A best friend. I’m from Lawrence, Kansas. I’ve also held residence in Boston, MA; Topeka, KS; Overland Park, KS; Cambridge, England; and Oakton, VA. Kansas will always be home… but I currently live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I began blogging in June of 2008 and have posts saved up through January of 2009. I was hacked by an awesome, standup guy in Vietnam on May 20, 2009. Everything from January to May is gone. I decided not to import the posts I do have and instead move on and begin again.
Once upon a time, this blog was known as Vibrant and Zany. Now it’s not.
Mo Chridhe means My Heart in Scottish Gaelic. My absolutely gorgeous header at the top of my blog is due to my friend Mary. How amazing is she?!?!
I close off comments to all Wordless Wednesday posts, first of the month posts, birthday posts, and any other posts as I see fit. If you have this UNDYING URGE to tell me something NICE or SUPPORTIVE relating to a comments-closed post, contact me some other way.
I take a ridiculous amount of photos. I own a ridiculous amount of songs. I buy and burn CDs due to the fact that my FM transmitter sounds like shit in my car. I back up my trusty MacBook like crazy, and I have no less than three separate backup disk drives for this sole purpose. I adore my MacBook, my iPod, my iPod Nano, and my iPhone. I drive an eco-friendly car, and I take pictures of the odometer every time it hits a new thousand miles. I’m not a treehugger, though. I just like the cheap gas.
My family consists of me, my parents and my brother, Will. My mom is a doctor; my dad works in five hundred different places and holds about that many Important Titles. They know People, so don’t mess with us. Will and I aren’t as brilliant as they are, but we certainly aren’t stupid.
Pretty much my whole life is up in the air, because as most people like to say, I’m extremely intelligent but don’t live up to my potential. And, you know, I like to change my life around a lot. NEVER A DULL MOMENT HERE!
